The German American Social Club of New Port Richey welcomes you to their monthly dinner dances!
Every third Wednesday of the month, mark your calendars for this festive occasion in the elegant atmosphere of the Polish Pulasky Association’s Club house on Darlington Road just off US 19 North in Holiday, Florida.
Jeden dritten Dienstag im Monat laedt Sie der German American Social Club of New Port Richey ein, mit Ihnen den nachmittag und Abend in den festlichen Raeumen der Polnischen Polaski Gesellschaftshaus zu verbringen.
Dress code varies, from festive to folklore or casual.
Doors open at 3:30 pm, Salad bar opens at 4:00 pm and dinner buffet opens at 5:00 pm with dancing beginning at 6:00 pm. There is always a live band and some wonderful raffle prizes at the end of the evening.

Pastor Waldemar Meyer (er hat als Erwachsener Deutsch gelernt, hat er doch einen Namen, bei dem man diese Sprache sofort erwarten kann) unterrichtet seit vielen Jahren in Deutschland, er hat einen kreativen Stil zu predigen entwickelt, den sich Pfarrer auch in Europa aneigenen moechten, weil sie damit ihre Gemeinde besser ansprechen koennen. Oft ist er in Bad Wiessee und im Sommer 2010 wurde er eigens eingeladen in Oberammergau waehrend der Passionsfestspiele neben der grossen Festspielhalle Gottesdienst auf Englisch und Deutsch anzubieten. das ging immer im 20-sekundentakt, mal englisch, dann wieder deutsch, erinnert er sich.
Dabei konnte er auch die Festspiele selbst besuchen und hat dies , zwar dann als Pensionaer, in zehn Jahren wieder vor.

In a Latin flavored program, Music Director of La Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba Enrique Pérez Mesa is joined by Principal Timpanist John Bannon in James Lewis’ Cubanitis for solo timpani and orchestra on a program with Carlos Fariñas’ Penthesilea: Preludio, Guido López-Gavilán’s Ritmotiv, José Pablo Moncayo’s Huapango and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1, Classical. Conducted by Enrique Pérez Mesa. Includes a pre-concert talk about the music and the composers, in the concert hall beginning one hour prior to curtain.
