Oktoberfest in Deutschland mag zuende gegangen sein, hier in Florida ist es "in full swing", vor einer Woche begonnen, war die Stimmung beim Fest der German American Society Pinellas auf Hochtouren, ein bisschen Regen machte gar nichts, man tantzte, sang und freute sich an Speiss und Trank unter dem riesigen weissen Zelt oder drinnen im Saal. Ein Empfang zum 3.10.2011, dem Tag der Deutschen Einheit wurde in Miami beim Deutschen Generalkonsulat gefeiert, dem folgte ein Empfang zum Deutsch-Amerika Tages am 6.10. Wir berichten von diesen Feierlichkeiten in den kommenden Wochen.
